Dynnargh! Welcome!

Trinity Methodist Church is planning the redevelopment of the Grade II* Listed Chapel in the heart of Newlyn.

The project is known as Dynnargh! (Cornish language for "welcome")

The chapel will become a place to tell and learn about Newlyn's story, welcoming locals and visitors alike to this important, historic building.

Fisherfolk and artists, quarryworkers and copper workers, silk and mining, language and dialect, myths and legends,  Bretons and Belgians, rugby and riots, William Lovett, Mary Kelynack and other famous sons and daughters, choirs, churches and chapels, pottery and smelting, the Mystery and Rosebud journeys, rope-making and rivalries - Buccas, Cut-throats and Lilywhites and that's just for starters.

Newlyn has a great story to tell.
